The Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Program

The Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Program will begin its 8th class September 15-18, 2006 in Los Angeles, CA. Students come from across the country to learn to become instruments of healing, able to reach the depth of the patient's suffering, at the level where the disease originates. Rather than palliating symptoms, which are only distress signals of a deeper imbalance, students of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture learn to diagnose and treat the underlying cause of the trouble (known as the Causative Factor), and to address the levels of emotion, mind and spirit, as well as the body. For acupuncturists and physicians who truly desire to treat the whole person, rather than parts, this is a life-transforming opportunity to learn how.

Presented by the Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Inc., under the direction of Master Apprentice Neil R. Gumenick, the Program is a one-year, part-time classroom and clinical training for licensed acupuncturists, physicians, osteopaths, dentists, and selected students of Oriental Medicine.

The Program, authorized and approved by Professor J.R. and Dr. Judy Worsley, meets Friday-Monday, once per month for nine months in Los Angeles, and includes three months of clinical observation/assisting and supervised clinical practice, which may be done in the students' local area. Dr. Judy Worsley and Master Apprentices Hilary Skellon and Suzanne Burnell are among the featured guest faculty.

Graduates are eligible for participation in all Worsley Institute post-graduate trainings, including practitioner seminars, clinical consultations, Teacher Training, and the Master Apprentice Program™.
