Welcome to New Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Practitioners10/23/2007 by David Goodell
On behalf of the Worsley Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture I am honored to welcome the recent graduates from ITEA in Boulder, the Institute of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture in Santa Monica, and Five Element Acupuncture Trainings in San Francisco to our community and add their names to our Practitioner List. Following are brief profiles of those who are interested in letting you know more about themselves. Congratulations on becoming fine practitioners of this beautiful medicine, and a warm welcome to our community of practitioners. With every good wish, David Goodell,
David Tucker - Seattle, WA
David said he studied 5-Element acupuncture elsewhere and that he needed a stronger root in the foundation of the practice of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture so he sought out training that was approved by the Worsley Institute. He thought Khosrow’s program was an incredible experience and highly recommends it to colleagues and students. “Khosrow & Shirley are a great team; really supportive and created a fantastic environment within which to learn Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.” David is enjoying his clinical practice. As a new practitioner, he treats about 10 to 12 patients a week throughout the course of 4 days and is looking forward to the time where he has an even fuller practice. David is very interested in joining MAP.
Kathleen MacGregor - Southern CA
She is now only practicing Classical Five-Element Acupuncture and said that her practice has doubled since she has changed to CF-EA. She said that practicing CF-EA has clarified and stabilized her practice and given it a better focus. Kathleen said that the CF-EA patients compared to the 8 Principle patients are more steady and long-term. She feels she can really work with them and feels more of a sense of community with longer-term relationships and more of a level of appreciation. She feels that it helps her be more present and feels that her CF-EA patients are also more present. 80% of her 8 Principle patients converted easily to the different style of practice in CF-EA. She said that Neil is a wonderful teacher and very capable of transmitting the energy of CF-EA. She feels strongly that Neil’s presentation of the theory and practice of CF-EA as taught by JR Worsley is undistorted and very clear, giving her the skills that she could immediately put into practice. Kathleen does want to receive information regarding WI programs and teaching events. Her phone number is 805-798-2511. Her address is: 137 West El Roblar Drive, Ojai, CA 93023. Email is: kathleen@5-elementacupuncture.com
Allen Stovall - San Diego, CA 92103Allen is a graduate of Neil’s program. He is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and began Neil’s program while he was in his last year of 8 Principle school. He feels that Neil’s program is excellent. Allen is in full-time practice and also teaches point location at PCOM. Allen describes Neil’s program as a “fantastic experience.” “It changed my life and I was not the same person at the end of my training as I was when I started.” Allen says that he noticed having CF-EA practice sets him apart from the modern acupuncturists. Allen also says that his patients notice the difference in their experience of treatment and the results. He is very interested in participating in MAP™ education and does want to receive information regarding WI programs and training opportunities. His mailing address is 3361 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103
