Community Building12/13/2007 by Emily Calvert: The purpose of Community Building is to reach CFEA practitioners, other practitioners in the Acupuncture community, doctors, universities, and the public. The information that we wish to share will include the on-going CFEA seminars, consults with Dr. Judy Worsley, and the Master’s Apprentice Program (MAP). The spirit of Community Building is through invitation. In that spirit we will welcome others to our on-line newsletter with a link to the Worsley Institute website. This will be accomplished through our bulk emailing. Mentoring is another avenue of invitation. For practitioners, a telephone link or email availability would be a line to continued learning. Clarification of CFEA material and news of upcoming Worsley Institute events would be the purpose of such a link. Community building thrives on the sharing of information. To accomplish this more email addresses and physical addresses can be gathered through the NCCAOM list, CFEA school lists, and responses to our bulk email. This information can be utilized to create an awareness of our programs for doctors and the public. As an example, we have the wonderful video, Healing Through Acupuncture. Let’s let people know. Let’s give them access to this video. How do we do this? We send out an email with a link to our website. Once they arrive at that site, they click and purchase the video. Community building. Please send any ideas or comments to EmilyC8084@yahoo.com or call 337-278-1941. Ideas are appreciated.
