Update on Spirit of the Points

12/13/2007 – by Suzanne Burnell: A palpable excitement and anticipation is firing the current momentum behind the Spirit of the Points. For those of you who might be asking “What is the Spirit of the Points?” let’s start from the beginning:

For a project, a group of participants from the first Master Apprentice Program (MAP™) contributed their spirits of points’ notes gathered over many years of working with JR in seminars and consultations and asked JR & Judy to write a book on the Spirit of the Points. The Worsleys loved the idea. That was just the beginning of quite a large project!

JR & Judy contracted two artists to create the artwork: color calligraphies of each of the five Elements and 12 Officials and black ink calligraphies of each of the 365 acupuncture points. Treat yourself to a visual tour of their exquisite work at www.worsleyacupuncture.com/spirits/. You’ll see that a lot of the original art has been sold and some is still available. Many details of layout and design have been developed and many are still in the works. A team of writers and editors have contributed their expertise on the Elements, Officials and Points. A team of editors is poised to polish to a shine.

Prior to JR’s passing, he reviewed the entire draft of the book and was so very pleased with it and he loved the artwork which was also completed at that time.
